SF Fashtech Has Provided PeoplewearSF Members with a Special Discount for Upcoming 3D Printing & The Future of Fashion event!
Learn about the role of 3D printing in fashion. Guest speakers include Natacha Alpert, Innovation Lead at global footwear company CALERES and curator of New York’s 2015 3D Print Fashion Show; and Behnaz Farahi, interaction designer and architect, who’s work (including interactive 3D printed wearables Caress of the Gaze and Ruff) have been featured in the Creator’s Project, Frame Magazine, Designboom, and more.
Network with entrepreneurs, designers, technologists, and enthusiasts, and view the rotating exhibits on display (including pieces by fashion tech designer Anouk Wipprecht and design studio Nervous Systems).

Join Peoplewearsf in Exploring the Future of Fashionable Technology at the IBM and 360Fashion “Innovation Awards.”
Presented by IBM, the 360Fashion & Tech “Innovation Awards” is coming to San Francisco on November 3rd and PeoplewearSF is participating as an in-kind sponsor. This will be an evening of technology innovation, visionary design, and fashion shows, with flash talks by leading entrepreneurs.
Board members Rachel Fischbein and Connie Ulasewicz are involved in creating this unique event. Connie leads a class of San Francisco State University students who will be interpreting technology trends within a fashion design competition, to be featured as an exhibition at the event. Rachel will be leading an on-runway flash talk regarding privacy laws and wearable technology with privacy and data expert Mary Hodder.
