Summary
The Apparel Product Manager is responsible for all product design and development, supply chain management and production of custom cycling, triathlon and running apparel. Depending on your skill set, you may be responsible for development of collateral materials and sales training. The Apparel Product Manager position is located in San Jose California and will work principally in the bay area. Responsibilities
Develop Apparel Tech Packs
Creating and maintaining Bill of Material (BOM) for applicable products (will include all fabrics, trims, branding, hang tags and/or packaging).
Reviewing all prototypes for adherence to BOM details
Performing cost analysis
Qualify, secure and manage Sew Shops
Source Materials
Manage Inventory and Supply Chain
Develop QA processes and procedures
Lead product development
Creating and monitoring fit and size specs on products that keep in mind the end-use performance.
Assuming other job responsibilities and duties, including but not limited to: design support, creation of collateral materials, sales-product training, and attendance at industry events.

Experience and Skills Required
Ideal candidate has bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years experience with the apparel development process.
Preferred candidate has experience developing performance apparel products.
Experience in product costing.
Must have a working knowledge of development process including timelines, pricing and delivery.
Has an understanding of pattern making, textiles, construction techniques and other elements that comprise apparel construction.

A team player with strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Word and Google Docs.

Participation and/or understanding of the sport of cycling is preferred.
